Handcrafted tables with an Italian touch

At MDK Interiors, we craft tables that blend Italian design and craftsmanship. With an eye for proportions, texture and finish, we create pieces of furniture that add character to your interior.

Our approach sets us apart from the well-known Mortex tables in the way we build up and shape the material. We deliberately apply layers of material and carefully refine them into a surface with depth, subtle nuances and a natural look. The edges, curves and transitions also receive our full attention: they help define the overall look.

Nature is a key source of inspiration in this process. From the powerful, irregular shapes of boulders to the soft lines of stone worn smooth by water: we translate these elements into unique table designs. We are also inspired by the refined appearance of smooth and honed natural stone, with its soft matt sheen, tactile texture and subtle colour variations.

Each table is finished by hand. The movement of the chisel and the nuances in the material give each piece its own character. The result is a table that is both a practical piece of furniture and a sculptural element within the space.

Italian-inspired. Shaped by nature. Handcrafted.
